 After graduating from
Emory & Henry College with a BA in Economics, Wally completed the
University of Michigan's Graduate School of Business in the Advanced
Management Program as well as University of Virginia's Colgate
Darden Graduate School of Business in the Young Executive Program.
He joined Chas. Lunsford Sons & Associates in 1994 after working in
the industry for 14 years in manufacturing and risk management.
He has been on the Board of Directors for VASHRM, on the Advisory
Board for MAG Mutual
Insurance Company, GuideOne Insurance Company and actively
participates in the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association, VANHA, and the Professional Liability
Underwriters Society.
Wally has been a consultant to various healthcare related clients
for their risk management and healthcare needs and has been a guest
speaker for numerous VASHRM/MGMA seminars and panel discussions.
Wally is also active in civic and community affairs such as having
served on the boards at Chamber of Commerce, Jr. Achievement, Mill
Mountain Zoo, various church related groups and organizations, Salem
Youth Athletics, and coaches girls and boys basketball, T-ball, as
well as participating in the AAU Basketball Program. |
