Roy E. Bucher, Jr., CIC Chairman, President & Treasurer |
 After graduating from Virginia
Commonwealth University with a degree in political science and
history, Roy joined the Continental Insurance Company as an
Underwriter and Marketing Agent. In 1977, Roy joined Chas.
Lunsford Sons & Associates as a Marketing Manager. Then in
1982 he was promoted to the position of Producer and Vice President
of Marketing & Sales. He became President in 1987 and
Chairman, President & Treasurer in 1998. Roy is a member of
The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) Association of Virginia &
DC, Construction Specifications Institute, and is on the PIA
Legislative Committee. He was awarded the Roanoke Jaycee of
the year in 1980 and the ABWA Boss of the Year in 1992. Roy
also has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. |
